Curbside Pickup

Curbside pickup was not a new fulfillment method in the app world when Covid19 started. Knowing that Lowe’s was going to remain open during the pandemic, we needed to provide a solution (fast) to help customers and our associates still continue their day-to-day task while remaining safe.

Problem

Business: Lowe’s did not have a way to provide a contactless shopping experience end to end for our customers.

How might we enable customers to have a quick and safe way to pick up their order?​

User: I'm stuck at home so I want to start tackling my home improvement projects I've been putting off but don't want to get sick going into a store or out in public.

Solution

Provide customers with an option to pick up their order Curbside or In Store by using a check-in feature within the Lowe’s app.
